It is a dream holiday that you can choose with your family, friends and relatives on a private boat (gulet) and that you will choose to go on a route, generally lasting 7 nights and 8 days. It is a type of holiday that you will have a much more enjoyable time by paying a price equivalent to the prices you would pay in 5-star holiday villages or hotels in popular towns such as Alaçatı / Bodrum.
The crew (captain, cook and sailor/hostess) will generally travel with you on the boat. You can leave the food issue entirely to the tour agency or you can do your own shopping according to the menus prepared by the cook and leave only the cooking and serving to the boat crew. You can bring your alcohol and beverages from outside.
Food and drinks should be provided on the day the boat departs and delivered to the crew before the departure time you are informed. Depending on the route you will take, there will be places where you will be providing reinforcements 3 or 4 days later. With the increase in boat tours in recent years, large supermarket chains are also providing service at sea. If you wish, you can order by phone and have it brought to your boat or shop at the floating market.
Once you've finished shopping and weighed anchor, a magnificent journey awaits you.
There are still some truly heavenly, untouched bays in Turkey. Depending on the route you choose, you may have the chance to go ashore for 1 or 2 nights, but on some routes you may not have this chance and may stop by at small ports.
The most preferred and recommended routes ;
Gokova route : Departing from Muğla-Bodrum, you can see the most beautiful bays of Turkey in my opinion. Çökertme, Tuzla, Bekar Bay, Karacasöğüt, English Harbour are the most popular ones.
Kekova route: This tour departs from Antalya-Demre and you can witness the most beautiful sunrises. In addition to well-known bays such as the Sunken City and Kaleköy, there are untouched bays that are not even on the map. You can stop by Kaş harbor and have a fun night.
Gocek route : It is a tour departing from Muğla-Marmaris. In addition to being very popular, the king tombs, Bedri Rahmi and Ağa Limanı bays are worth seeing.
Marmaris-Fethiye route : It is a route where you can both sail on a boat and enjoy the nights, departing from Muğla-Marmaris. While swimming in unique bays during the day, you can go to Marmaris or Fethiye port in the evening to have fun.
Bozburun-Selimiye route: It is a route with magnificent bays, wonderful seas and port villages such as Datça, Palamutbükü, Bozburun and Selimiye.
Since your living space will be completely the boat and the sea, the most important rule of this holiday is to choose your holiday friends well. Cabins on boats vary as double or single. Each cabin has its own toilet and shower. Once you get along with the boat, you will most likely prefer to sleep on the deck watching the stars from the first night :) Cushion grabbing battles will add color to your nights :)
